Environmental education and sustainability: concepts often heard but not always understood, which must instead represent the guidelines in our daily life, through a way that can promote change in individual and collective attitudes and behaviour, consolidating in each of us actions, habits, values and knowledge useful to contribute the development, especially in the younger generations, of responsible behaviour inspired by knowledge and respect for environmental sustainability. The environmental emergency needs to be transformed into more equitable and inclusive economic and social development opportunities, by revimping the economy with green technology, creating sustainable industries and transport and reducing pollution. In this perspective, Sheltia has already taken a first step, in conjunction with the Christmas holidays, giving to each collaborator one of first 276 trees, providing a tangible contribution to the forestation of our planet. We have also already planned for 2022 the replacement of company veihcles to hybrid cars with low pollution impact for a further contribution to the improvement of environmental well-being.
