Tirreno Power, con un gesto semplice quanto importante, ha deciso di gettare i semi di una nuova foresta piantando un albero per ognuno dei suoi dipendenti.

I nostri alberi cresceranno nell'ambito di progetti agroforestali che favoriscono l’interazione virtuosa tra diverse specie ed un uso sostenibile delle risorse e dei terreni. 

La nostra foresta, inoltre, potrà comportare benefici sociali per le comunità locali che partecipano al progetto.

La Foresta Tirreno Power

Tirreno Power is one of the main electricity producers in Italy. It was founded in 2003 and currently manages 3 thermoelectric power plant with 4 combined cycle plants fueled by natural gas and 18 hydroelectric plants with a capacity of approximately 2,500 MW.

The history of the company has followed a path that naturally leads to sustainability. In the last few years, the corporate strategy was focused on the continuous improvement of the efficiency and environmental performance of the plants, and on initiatives for training, growth and engagement of people. Alongside the growing collaboration with the territory. All these actions have marked the valuable stages of this journey, increasingly based on sustainable development.

Today, in collaboration with Treedom, The Tirreno Power Forest comes to life. A virtuous initiative with a long-term time horizon: planting trees to make them grow and to create a symbolic place where the commitment to an even greener world can take root.
