Soil vitality is central in agroforestry systems because it determines fertility, water retention, and the resilience of the entire system. Tefrosia naturally enriches the soil by transforming atmospheric nitrogen into nutrients available in the soil for other species as well. Sesbania also fixes nitrogen in the soil and, in addition, produces a large amount of biomass—mainly through its leaves—which returns organic matter to the soil, improving its structure, microbiology, and water retention capacity. Together, Tefrosia and Sesbania activate a virtuous cycle that makes the system more fertile, stable, and productive over time. A collaboration that benefits everyone!

All Treedom's trees are geolocated and photographed when they are planted. Once a tree has been purchased, it takes between a few weeks and several months before it's ready to be planted.
