La forêt Emerson ‘s MEA Green Forest Initiative As a global company, we understand our crucial role in advancing technologies and solutions that help improve sustainability across all fronts of our organization; from making positive changes to the way we do business to the way we work and collaborate with our customers and stakeholders to improve the quality of life in the communities we operate in. ‘- Vidya Ramnath, Emerson Middle East and Africa, president.In 2020, we developed the Greening Of, Greening By, and Greening With framework, a measurable strategic plan that guides our approach to environmental sustainability.As part of the Greening of Emerson focus, We, at Emerson MEA, have created a corporate forest allowing us to share our green initiative with our customers and employees. This project highlights the importance of tree planting in aiding environmental sustainability as trees absorb CO2, emit oxygen, promote biodiversity, counteract soil erosion, and create sustainable ecosystems that ensure food sovereignty and income opportunities for different communities. Through the Emerson MEA corporate forest, we are given the opportunity to plant 900 trees across several countries over the next year. Gifting a tree to our forest helps us grow closer to our overall vision of building a better, greener future for all.
