Who are we?Exasol is an analytics database company, redefining what it means to work with data. What’s our mission? Our company was born out of our shared passion of innovation and the ideal of inclusiveness. It’s why we strive to create the best analytics database on the planet. And it’s how we’ve grown and nurtured our company into a beautifully diverse family of incredible talent – where we respect and value everyone’s ideas and enthusiasm. That’s why we encourage each other to push boundaries and build rewarding careers. It’s also why we think it’s important to balance all the hard work we do in our professional lives with the freedom to unwind and explore the world around us.What’s our vision? Our vision is for everyone in an organization to have access to data – with unrivalled performance, anywhere you need it. So, you can always make timely and informed decisions that improve every aspect of your business. To make this happen we want our powerful in-memory analytics database to be as agile, extensible and platform-agnostic as possible – so whatever analytical tools or data science languages you use, whatever your deployment method, and no matter where you collect and store data it will always be hassle-free and give you the biggest return on investment.Where we areWe pride ourselves on having ‘pure design’ in the true sense of the word. Over 20 years ago we designed an in-memory analytics database that was built to go the distance. And guess what? It still works. Our industry, and indeed our world, might have evolved beyond all recognition but the essence of our design is as equipped to deal with organizations’ demands for valuable data as it always has been. And we’re now at a very exciting point of our growth journey. Following our successful IPO in May 2020, we are now ready to expand globally and take our analytics database further on to the world stage. We’re already a global, profitable tech company. And, unlike many of our competitors, over the past twenty years we’ve grown organically, funded by business angels. There’s no ‘burn through money’ attitude here. We’re very focused on what we do best – enabling customers to reach their true potential by using our analytics database to get more value from all the information at their disposal.
