L'impronta ecologica del digitale è sempre più considerevole in termini di impatto ambientale. Il progetto PIANTALAmail prevede la misurazione dell’inquinamento derivante dall’utilizzo delle e-mail grazie all’implementazione di una piattaforma di monitoraggio dedicata. L’iniziativa ha previsto l’introduzione di un piano di sensibilizzazione per le persone di CAP al fine di favorire l’adozione di modalità di lavoro più sostenibili rispetto al tema della "digital pollution".
