When education takes root As an international university, we do not see climate change as a trend, but rather as a duty to work for a greener life. For this reason, we support recognised climate protection projects and actively incorporate the topic of sustainability into our study programmes. Since 2020, IU has also been teaching and working in a climate -neutral way - as the first distance learning university worldwide. Because we have to think ahead With new students, not only IU grows, but also our responsibility. That is why we are constantly working on new innovative tools to make learning more independent, but also greener.&nbsp;We want to make graduates and students with extraordinary goals happy with a personalised tree. Die&nbsp;internationale Hochschule&nbsp;bietet daher unterschiedliche Studienmodelle und Weiterbildungen für alle Zielgruppen – egal, ob 100% online, vor Ort am Campus oder flexibel neben dem Job. Dabei legt sie großen Wert auf erstklassige und gut&nbsp;strukturierte Studienprogramme&nbsp;mit hohem Servicelevel. Das Ergebnis:&nbsp;Zahlreiche Auszeichnungen&nbsp;und Top-Platzierungen bei Hochschul-Rankings sowie staatliche Akkreditierungen und Zertifizierungen. Weil Klimaschutz auch Bildungssache ist<o:p></o:p>Seit 2020 lehrt und arbeitet das Team des&nbsp;IU Fernstudiums&nbsp;zudem&nbsp;klimaneutral&nbsp;– als erste Fernhochschule weltweit. Dafür wurde gemeinsam mit dem TÜV Süd eine&nbsp;persönliche Treibhausgasbilanz&nbsp;erstellt, denn jeder Vorlesungsraum, jede Anreise zum Campus und jede E-Mail verursacht CO2-Emissionen. Zudem gibt es einen Maßnahmenplan zur&nbsp;Minderung der Emissionsintensität, der unter anderem den Wechsel zu nachhaltiger, grüner Energie einschließt.
